FYNE Consulting
Role: Web Designer & UI/UX Designer
Type: Client Project (Live)
Deliverables: Brand Identity, Web Design, UI/UX Concept, Web Development
The Challenge
Governance, IT-Compliance, and Data Protection are complex and highly sensitive topics. Traditional consulting firms in this sector often rely on outdated, text-heavy, and visually dry websites. The challenge for FYNE Consulting was to break this mold. They needed a digital presence that communicates absolute authority and legal safety, while positioning them as a highly modern, forward-thinking tech partner.
Phase 1: Brand Identity & Corporate Design
1. The Logo Concept & Typography
The consulting sector (especially governance and IT compliance) demands absolute trust. To visualize this, I designed a custom wordmark. The primary "FYNE" logotype utilizes a bold, geometric, and highly stable typography—representing structural integrity and security. To create optical balance, the "consulting" subline is kept in a softer, more approachable lowercase sans-serif font.
2. The Color Palette: Bridging Trust and Tech
Traditional consulting firms almost exclusively use a conservative "navy blue." I wanted to break this pattern and give FYNE a much more modern, tech-forward edge.
The Foundation: Deep marine blue and rich forest green represent classic financial and legal stability.
The Accent: A striking neon-gold/olive gradient injects a highly modern, digital aesthetic, distinguishing them from traditional competitors.
3. A Holistic Design System (Print to Screen)
As a multidisciplinary designer, I ensure that a brand works seamlessly across every touchpoint. The FYNE Corporate Design was engineered to be completely versatile. I developed multiple logo iterations: a primary black version for clean print stationery, a vibrant gradient edition for digital assets, and a high-contrast negative badge specifically optimized for dark-mode UI and digital stamping. The entire system translates perfectly from CMYK print production to responsive web environments.
Phase 2: UI/UX Architecture & Web Experience
With the new brand identity established, the next step was translating it into a high-performance digital experience. The goal was to build a one-pager that breaks the mold of traditional, text-heavy consulting websites and instead feels like a premium tech product.
1. The "Digital Law" Aesthetic
Governance, IT compliance, and data protection are highly sensitive and often abstract topics. To make them visually engaging, I established a "Digital Law" aesthetic. I utilized a deep dark-mode interface that inherently communicates cybersecurity and confidentiality. Instead of generic stock photos of people in suits, I integrated glowing 3D wireframe graphics—most notably the scales of justice (Justitia) constructed from digital nodes. This perfectly symbolizes the intersection of law and modern IT.
2. Intuitive User Navigation
The UX architecture follows the client's own work ethic: "clear, pragmatic, and effective." Instead of overwhelming the user with long walls of text, I structured the core services (Compliance, IT-Security, Data Protection) into intuitive, clickable circular nodes over a blurred background. This keeps the cognitive load low and makes complex services easily scannable.
3. Strategic Social Proof for Conversion
In the compliance and banking sector, trust is the ultimate currency. To maximize conversion rates, I strategically placed a dedicated "References" section featuring prominent client logos (such as regional banks and tech companies) immediately before the final contact form. This creates a seamless flow from initial interest to verified trust and, ultimately, to taking action.
The impact
As a multidisciplinary designer, I handled this project from the initial logo sketch to the final live website. The result is a fully responsive, modern digital business card that sets FYNE Consulting apart from traditional competitors. It proves that compliance and governance don't have to look boring—they can look like the future.
